About

Daniel Senie has been photographing the world since the age of 12. He saved gifts and allowance rather than spending it, until he could buy an SLR camera and a few lenses, then there was no holding back. Black and white film by the 100 foot spool was cranked through that old camera, and a later one, taking pictures of New York City architecture, news and sports photography and nature. Many hours were spent in the darkroom processing film and prints.

These days the darkroom is digital, and so are the cameras, though his large collection of underwater images are all shot on slide film and scanned with a high-resolution scanner.

Daniel shoots with Canon digital SLR equipment, uses Adobe software for processing and Epson photo printers to produce his finished results. Framed prints are custom-matted. Canvas prints in large sizes are also available.
